What we supply

Power and energy is the sector Synergy Power Systems Limited was built around. Since 2006 we have supplied medium and high voltage equipment to generation, transmission and distribution utilities across Kenya and the wider East African region. Our work covers the full chain of an electricity network, from the generator terminals and step up transformers at a power station, through transmission substations and overhead lines, down to distribution switchgear, metering and the connection at the customer premises.

We supply primary plant such as power and distribution transformers, air, gas and vacuum insulated switchgear, motors, fuses, generators and transformer oil. Alongside the plant we carry the consumables and accessories that keep projects moving on site, including termination kits and cable jointing accessories, conductors and cables, overhead line hardware, insulators, enclosures, lighting, electrical and electronic materials, power tools and calibration equipment. We also supply SF6 gas together with the gas handling carts, service equipment and leak detection accessories required to manage it responsibly.

Because our clients operate assets that must stay energised, availability matters as much as specification. We hold agreements with global manufacturers that allow us to quote genuine parts with traceable documentation, and we work with procurement teams on framework contracts, tender submissions and long lead item planning so that critical spares are on the ground before an outage window opens.
